Bit parky, innit?
It's more than rather cold here in Brittany today. The Météo called for snow, my eldest was most indignant when we awoke to clear blue skies this morning.
"Where is the snow? Mummy we need to wear extra warm clothes today because it is going to snow, a lot..."
"No sweetie, no snow today, we don't have the right conditions for snow."
"Mummy, the Météo said we would have snow today and so we will and besides, they know better than you..."
(Oho... cheeky-child alert...)
So we had a discussion about predictions and clouds and moisture and by the end, she saw that we would not indeed have snow today. Plus I pulled the 'I-lived-in-6-months-of-annual-snow-Vermont' Trump card. Mummy knows snow, dear.
"Ok, Mummy... but tomorrow...."
(Sigh... only 6 more days until rentrée....)

Happy Christmas
... to one and all.
It's Champagne and Oysters for us this afternoon... as soon as we pick up a bottle of butane from here in Plouguernével. Seems the other one at my apartment decided to give out... after a grand total of one hour 45 minutes of turkey cooking this afternoon. So I have a rather naked and raw looking bird sitting in my oven in Kleg right now...
Never mind. It just means Christmas dinner will be a little later tonight. Dinner at eight, I think.
Hope your Christmas was merry, however you decided to celebrate.
Happy Hannukah as well.
My wish for all is peace and understanding. Have a lovely holiday.
Kisses from Kitty.

Language skills
My children have now reached a milestone in their language acquisition... they can now quibble fluently in both English and French.
They can also call each other names in Breton.....
David Frost was right when he maintained that when your first child is born, you become a parent. With the second, you turn into a referee.

Hello all.... happy Sundaze...
Right... phone is back on again at home in Kleg, but with another new telephone number. THIS one is staying STRICTLY Unlisted and Privé. (Loooooong story, that one...)
But in regards of my ADSL, I am unable to get ahold of Alice (aka Tiscali-in-a-Wonderbra) so no Internet except Chez Tebee here in Plouguernével.
As of 17 November 2005, I am officially Divorcée according to Crewe County Court. Yeehaa. Of course, ex-Mr. has to apply for the Decree Absolute, which I really want but he cannot be arsed to apply for it... so... I must wait three months from the Decree Absolute date and apply myself. Thats 17 Feb 2006. But of course he doesn't want to apply for it, if he does, the CSA may come asking why he has only seen fit to give his children a staggering grand total of 140€ since July 2004. And so far, not even so much as a tuppence for Christmas has materialized....
Even a card would be nice. It isn't like he doesn't have the postal address... Geez, they are his children.... (Tell you what, this year I am NOT going to be making any excuses for him to the kittens as to why there are no Prezzies with 'from Daddy' on them under the Christmas tree...)
Still on codeine as my shoulder and neck are still killing me. Thats probably why I haven't posted anything on here. I write something at about 2 am, maxed out on painkillers, go back to read it later and think... 'WTF did I write that for???'... then never post it.
I am still working on my Business Plan, but I should have that all wrapped up in a day or so. Finished all my costings for my food items that I will be selling and am approaching ACCRE next week, then EDEN, then APCE. Nice to have the CCI on my side. (Is it me or does it seem like Alphabet Soup sometimes here in France?)
So my concept is close to realisation. Stay tuned....
